A Message From Athletic Directory Jim Zumbo: At Fairport High School, we are dedicated to the concept of the student-athlete. Involvement in our Interscholastic Athletic Program provides participants a means to develop as well-rounded young men and women. As history shows, our school's athletic achievements are impressive, but we are equally as proud of our student-athletes' academic accomplishments.
Fairport's Boys and Girls Basketball teams and Cheerleaders have rich athletic traditions. Our program's success is built on the hard work and dedication of our coaches and players in combination with the support of our student body, staff and community. I want to take this opportunity to express my appreciation to each of these groups for their efforts in continuing our "Commitment to Excellence."
I look forward to another exciting season of Red Raider Basketball. Good luck to our Basketball and Cheerleading programs, as well as all the winter teams. I wish for you seasons of much success and a 2002-2003 school year filled with many positive experiences.
