12/12/02 Varsity Raiders lose a tough one to Gates Chili

In their second game of the season, the Boys' Varsity Raiders took on the Gates Chili Spartans at Fitch Court on December 11th, 2002, having won their season-opener over Edison.

Though they led by only two points at halftime, the Spartans outscored the Raiders by seven in the third quarter to pull head by nine points. That proved to be a lead they'd hang on to, winning the contest by a score of 63 to 58, handing the Varsity Raiders their first loss of the season.
