01/21/03 Girls' Modified Blue beats HFL ; 44-18

Tonight the lady raiders improved their record to 10-1 with a win over an improved HFL team. Defense and rebounding lead the way, holding HFL to 18 points. Colleen Curtin, Colleen Dodd, Katie McCarthy, and Adrienne Gibson established the rebounding edge early, turning many offensive rebounds into points and frequently allowing only one shot on the defensive end. Offensively, the lady raiders were lead by Curtin who had 8 points and Gretchen Miller who lead all scorers with 11 points.
