Fairport JV Boy’s Basketball Defeat Hilton

In their only game last week the Fairport JV boy’s basketball team hosted the Hilton Cadets. With 6 different players scoring in the first quarter the Raiders jumped out to an early first quarter lead, 20 to 9. Fairport continued to play solid defense holding the Cadets to 7 points in the second quarter to take a 33 to 16 halftime lead. The Raiders led by as many as 23 points in the second half to go on to win 51 to 37.

Leading the scoring for Fairport was Kevin Borden with 17 points. Also scoring were Tyler Launer with 8, Nick Pelusio with 7, Mark Bruce with 6, Kyle Downey with 5, and Dan Moreno, Jeff Visco , Greg Fitter, and Travis Condello all with 2 points.

Their next game is the Fairport Holiday Tournament on December 29^th.
