Masterton hits late free throws to lift Penfield past Fairport

(January 13, 2007) — Penfield switched defensive sets in the second quarter, outscored Fairport 13-4, and went on to defeat the Red Raiders 51-41 in Monroe County girls basketball Friday.

Fairport (7-5 overall) rallied to pull with two points with two minutes remaining. Kim Masterton went 4-for-4 from the free-throw line to secure the win for Penfield.

Jessica Harmon scored six of her 11 in the fourth for Penfield (8-2, 4-1).
