Fairport JV Boy’s Basketball Team Improves to 6-6

The Fairport JV boy’s basketball team won 2 games last week beating Churchville and Brockport. In the Churchville game the Raiders held a 30 to 20 lead at the half. Churchville scored 23 points in the fourth quarter but it wasn’t enough as Fairport held on to win 60 to 54. Leading the scoring for Fairport was Robby Magee with 27 points. Also scoring were Michael Glenn with 15, James Hamill with 5, Ace Ravenell with 4, Mark Regan with 3, Adam Lostumbo with 2, Brian Dastin with 2, and Phil Mormon with 2.

In the Brockport game Fairport outscored Brockport 36 to 23 in the first half. Fairport held Brockport to 15 points in the second half to go on to win 58 to 38. Leading a balanced scoring attack was Glenn with 16 points. Also scoring were Magee with 13, Mormon with 12, Hamill with 6, Bryce Hammerton, Lostumbo, Ryan Hourihan, Ravenell, Dastin, with 2 and Geoff Soja with 1.
