Fairport's Kevin Borden Named Birdseye Foods Player of the Week

Bird's Eye Foods Players of the Week

Feb. 4 - Feb. 10.

Division 1 - Kevin Borden, Fairport and Ellis Walsh, Penfield. Kevin started a 6-0 run near the end of the game vs. R-H with 2 free throws and a lay-up to help give Fairport a win and a share of the Division 1 title. He also scored 22 points in a win over Penfield. Ellis scored 15 points and collected 11 rebounds in an overtime win at Gates. His free throw with 7 seconds left in regulation forced overtime.

Division 2 - Terrance McCutchen, Athena and Scott Batzold, Irondequoit. Terrance scored 15 points, including 3 three-pointers, in an overtime win at Hilton. Scott scored a career high 25 points, including 5 three-pointers, in a win against Churchville. He also scored 17 points in a
win over Spencerport.

Division 3 - Chris Page, Batavia. Chris scored a team high 17 points in a win over Sutherland to help give Batavia a share of the Division 3 title with Brighton.
