Senior forward Zedrick Wilson scored all 15 of Franklin's points in the first quarter and finished with 23 points, 20 rebounds and 5 steals as the Quakers defeated top-seeded, and two-time defending sectional champion, Fairport (16-5).
Franklin connected on 16 of 20 free throw attempts in the fourth quarter to seal the victory.
Lamonze Sizer grabbed 10 rebounds and scored eight points for Franklin (11-11). More importantly, he held Fairport's leading scorer Kyle Downey to 18 points on man-to-man defense all night.
Downey ends his career with 1,309 points
